Norway Royal Salmon (NRS) is a fully integrated fish farming company. Its dedicated sales organisation offers salmon and trout to the world market from the company’s own farms and from its extensive partnership network. NRS is involved in all stages of the process, from smolt production, fish production, harvesting, sales and marketing.

We strongly believe that each individual company and the local community benefits from operations based on local decision making and local management and ownership.

NRS represents totally 30 salmon producing companies, holding 80 salmon production licenses, 6 smolt producers and 1 land-based arctic char license. NRS is the majority shareholder in 4 fish farming companies holding a total of 25 fish licenses, and has minority stakes in 6 fish farming companies with a total of 16 fish licenses as well as minority interests in two slaughterhouses and a smolt producer.
